Creators involved with ORMA Guides are experts who help discover destinations and enrich the travel experience. They are present throughout the entire trip, from departure to return, to ensure a deeper and more engaging journey. In most cases, travelers will have the opportunity to travel to and from the destination with the creators, benefiting from their guidance and expertise during the trip.
ORMA promotes responsible and sustainable tourism by encouraging users to explore places outside of the more traditional and often crowded tourist circuits. In our guides, you will find many places in less-known parts of cities that are nonetheless beautiful and rich in history. We focus on finding places that actively contribute to improving the cities where they operate, such as through social or environmental initiatives or by supporting disadvantaged communities. This commitment often translates into direct support for neighborhood communities and the "leave a place better than you found it" approach. This helps mitigate issues related to mass tourism and promotes more responsible tourism. We want travelers to be not only consumers of a city's resources but also contributors to its improvement.
Apical is the tour operator, as required by regulations, on which Orma relies to sell travel packages. This means that while ORMA provides the platform and content, Apical handles the actual tour operations and booking.
ORMA and Apical are responsible for the execution of the travel services specified in the Contract, regardless of whether these services are provided by ORMA and Apical themselves or by third parties. The User must promptly inform ORMA and Apical of any non-conformity observed. If ORMA and Apical do not remedy the non-conformity, the User is entitled to a price reduction and compensation for any damages incurred.
Yes, the User can transfer the Contract to another person who meets all conditions for the use of the Service by notifying ORMA and Apical at least seven days before the start of the travel package. The transferor and transferee are jointly responsible for the payment of the balance of the price and any additional costs resulting from the transfer.
The official classification of hotels is provided in the catalog based on the indications of the competent authorities in the country where the service is provided. In the absence of recognized official classifications, ORMA and Apical reserve the right to provide a description of the accommodation in the catalog, allowing the User to evaluate and accept the offer.
The accepted payment methods are those listed for each travel package. ORMA and Apical use third-party tools for processing payments and do not come into contact with payment data. If payment authorization is refused, ORMA and Apical will not be able to confirm the purchase of the travel package.
To access ORMA guides, you need to download the ORMA Guides application on your mobile device (available on both the App Store and Google Play Store) and register. You can then search for and select your city of interest and browse the available guides. To access all content in full and all additional features, you will need to subscribe to ORMA Guides Plus directly through the app buying a single guide or the entire catalog.

Trips offered by ORMA Guides are designed to be immersive and impactful. They are led by influencers, creators, and experts who accompany travelers throughout the journey. This includes the trip from start to finish, ensuring that travelers have a meaningful experience with the creators. The trips focus on sustainability and provide opportunities to engage with others who share similar values.
ORMA and Apical reserve the right to unilaterally modify the terms of the Contract, except for the price, for minor changes. In the event of significant changes, such as modifying one or more main features of the travel services or increasing the price by more than 8%, the User can accept the proposed modification or withdraw from the Contract without penalty. In case of withdrawal, ORMA and Apical may offer a substitute package of equivalent or higher quality. The User must communicate their decision within two business days of receiving the modification notice.
If, after departure, ORMA and Apical are unable to provide an essential part of the services included in the Contract, they must offer suitable alternative arrangements to continue the trip without additional costs to the User or refund the difference between the planned and actual services provided. If it is not possible to provide an alternative solution, ORMA and Apical will provide an equivalent means of transport for returning to the original departure point or another agreed location.
The User must inform ORMA and Apical of their nationality, have a valid passport, and obtain the necessary visas and health certificates. The User must comply with the rules of prudence and diligence, the regulations in force in the destination countries, and the infORMAtion provided by ORMA and Apical. The User must promptly communicate any special needs or personal conditions to ORMA and Apical.
ORMA and Apical offer appropriate guarantees for organized tourism contracts, ensuring the refund of the price paid for the travel package and the immediate return of the User in case of insolvency or bankruptcy of the intermediary or organizer.
In case of issues or complaints, contact ORMA via email to resolve the problem. Any complaint must be submitted within 14 days after the reserved event. Complaints submitted after this period may be rejected.
The spots in ORMA guides are selected based on a list of objective criteria according to the values we support. These criteria include inclusivity, support for the local economy, environmental and social sustainability, non-profit commitment, and more. These criteria are applied to ensure that the places in the guides have a positive impact on the local community.
Payments for ORMA Plus are handled through in-app purchases directly through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. You can use the payment options accepted by these virtual stores to subscribe to a plan.
Yes, you can download all the guides for your desired city on Google Maps through the ORMA Guides app. This allows you to access infORMAtion and maps even in offline mode, using only GPS if your device supports it, which is ideal for exploring places without Wi-Fi or mobile data.
