This journey through Lampedusa offers a unique blend of volunteer work, cultural immersion, and exploration of the island's natural beauty. The experience begins with an introductory tour of the island, including visits to the Porta d’Europa and historical spots that reflect Lampedusa’s journey as a safe haven for those crossing the Mediterranean.

Participants will volunteer with local NGOs, actively supporting initiatives that assist migrants and protect the environment.

This includes contributing to projects at an environmental NGO focused on preserving Lampedusa’s coastline, marine life, and biodiversity. You’ll also work at a turtle rescue center, where you’ll assist in caring for injured turtles and gain insights into the challenges of marine conservation.

Exploring the island's diverse landscapes, we’ll embark on bike rides and nature walks to Isola dei Conigli and Lampedusa’s natural reserve, where travelers can witness the island’s unique flora and fauna.

A boat excursion to Linosa, the nearby volcanic island, will reveal pristine underwater ecosystems and the island’s untouched landscapes.

The experience combines relaxation with deep social engagement, including discussions with local advocates and experts on migration, sustainability, and resilience.

Each day balances active participation with time for reflection, allowing you to connect meaningfully with both the land and its people.

Note: The final itinerary will be provided when booking opens and may be adjusted based on local conditions and other factors.
